Located in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Brookdale Estate is close to both the Stellenbosch Wine Route and culinary capital of South Africa, Franschhoek. The estate is within an easy 1-hour drive of Cape Town International Airport, and is a scenic 2-hour drive from the whale watcher’s paradise, Hermanus.

Take the N1 towards Paarl for ±60 kilometres.

Take the Sonstraal turn off, Exit 62A, this is the turnoff just before the tunnel. (If you hit the Toll – you have gone too far.)

Turn left onto the R101 and follow this road over all intersections for about 3km.

You will the see Ashanti Spa on your right … we are the very next turnoff – Hawequa Bos Pad which is also on the right.

Tar road soon becomes well-packed gravel road for 1km.

The gates to Brookdale Estate will be on your right-hand side.

Enter the code you were provided when making a reservation if the gate is closed.

Follow the bricked road to the Cape Dutch-style Manor House set beneath the mountains and surrounded by vineyards.

Exit the airport and follow the offramp to Somerset West to the left.

Follow the N2 for about 3.5km and take the R300 offramp, Exit 22A, towards Bellville.

Follow this road to the end where it curves to the right and merges with the N1.

From here, Take the N1 towards Paarl for ±35 kilometres.
