2025 Brookdale Bradbourne Estate Blend
R425
We had a great winter, cold and wet, giving the vines the rest and hydration they needed for a strong start. The growing season stayed cool, creating near-perfect conditions for healthy vines and high-quality fruit. Budburst came a little later than usual but was nice and even across the vineyard, setting us up for a great year. Ripening happened during a warm, dry stretch without any extreme heat, and with no late-season surprises or disease. The fruit came in beautifully, clean, balanced, and full of promise.

TASTING NOTES
Expressive and bold with pithy grapefruit, lime, quince, herbs, brioche and a creamy lees complexity. This has a lovely fruit concentration, great depth and very focused with a mélange of stem ginger, roasted vanilla peaches, exotic herbs and a long sleek finish. Fine-tuned and harmonious, made for aging.
WINEMAKING
Our Estate White Blend captures the character of both site and vintage. Composed of Grenache Blanc (59%), Roussanne (23%), Marsanne (12%), Palomino (4%), and Vermentino (2%), each component contributes to the wine’s balance, texture, and aromatic complexity. Grapes were hand-harvested from selected blocks, pre-cooled, and whole-bunch pressed. After overnight settling, the juice was racked to large-format French oak for spontaneous fermentation. A portion of the Grenache Blanc saw two weeks of skin contact, adding depth and texture. The wine underwent full malolactic conversion and matured on its lees for 10 months, building structure and a layered mouthfeel.
